MY KALEIDOSCOPE WORLD

KALEIDOSCOPE
-  a complex pattern of constantly changing colors and shapes .
-   It  is  an optical instrument that uses mirrors to produce changing symmetrical patterns.
Invented by the Scottish physicist Sir David Brewster in 1816, the device is usually a hand-
held tube, a few inches to as much as twelve feet in length, and looks like a small telescope

-   The kaleidoscope makes magic with light and mirrors. It may be considered a child's toy (or
a toy for all ages), but it is also a simple optical device with technical applications for
designers and pattern-makers. Greek words are the source of the name; it comes from
kalos, eidos, and skopios meaning beautiful, form, and view, respectively.
